COVID-19: Lockout in Goa from Thursday, check what is allowed and what is not

New Delhi: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant announced on Wednesday (April 28) that the state government would lockout from Thursday night to Monday morning.
The decision comes in the wake of COVID-19 infection In the state. Goa CM Pramod Sawant announced that the lockdown would begin at 7 pm on Thursday (April 29) and would last till Monday (May 3).
The Chief Minister while addressing the press said, “People should not panic. All grocery stores and essential services will be allowed to operate, I also urge migrant laborers not to leave the state. ”

Panaji (Goa) [India], April 27 (ANI): Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday informed that 50 per cent of people of the state have got themselves tested for COVID-19 so far.
The Chief Minister held a meeting with state Police Personnel through video conferencing regarding enforcement of COVID-19 norms in the state.
Interacting with the Police force during the meeting held at his residence Altinho, Panaji the Chief Minister directed the cops to ensure that the Covid norms are strictly enforced and implemented in the state to curb the spread of deadly Coronavirus disease.

Panaji, April 26 : A political war of words has erupted between Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat over the issue of Covid-19 management in the state which had registered a record 2,293 infections over 24 hours on Sunday.
While Sawant has urged the Opposition not to play politics over the pandemic, Kamat has claimed that on the contrary, Sawant and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have been politicising Covid-19 management efforts in the state.
