Coshocton woman dies from crash injuries
The crash remains under investigation by Coshocton County Sheriff’s officers and county prosecutors.
Madison was flown by helicopter from the scene to Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus due to the severity of her injuries, investigators said.
Tuesday at about 2:20 p.m., the sheriff’s office received a 911 call about a two-vehicle crash with injuries in the 20000 block of State Route 16 in Jackson Township. Upon arrival, deputies determined that a Chevrolet truck driven by William P. Cline, 34, of Newcomerstown, rear-ended a van driven by Madison, while she was turning into a driveway. Two juvenile passengers were in the van at the time of the crash. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

Childhood sweethearts who were inseparable during their 70 years of marriage died of COVID-19 while holding hands in an US hospital, their family told
Dick Meek, 89, and Shirley Meek, 87, passed away within minutes of each other on January 16th at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, the family said. They never had to go through until death do us part, said their daughter Debbie Howell. They never had to do that because they were together and we re ever so grateful. The couple was scheduled for their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on January 19, her dad s 90th birthday. They were that close, said daughter Vicci Harper.
