In light of the latest developments in the ongoing pandemic situation, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) has decided to re-consolidate all domestic passenger flights currently operating via Terminal 1. With effect from April 21, 2021, CSMIA will be conducting all international as well as domestic flight operations through its iconic advanced Terminal 2, the airport authority mentioned in a statement.

Mumbai, April 15 : In view of the worsening Covid-19 pandemic situation, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) in Mumbai has decided to re-consolidate all domestic passenger flights currently operating from Terminal 1, an official said here on Thursday.
From April 21, the CSMIA will operate all domestic and international services from the advanced Terminal 2.
It has also requested all passengers booked on GoAir, Star Air, AirAsia, TruJet and IndiGo flights to contact their respective airlines for further details.
The CSMIA assured that it is strictly adhering to all the Covid-19 protocols and other guidelines issued by the Centre and Maharashtra government to curb the spread of the virus.

MUMBAI: With ever-rising Covid cases in Mumbai, the city airport on Thursday announced that all domestic passenger flights will depart from T2 from next week.
Currently, domestic operations are handled from two terminals of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA), T2 in Sahar and T1 in Vile Parle.
Airlines like IndiGo, AirAsia, GoAir, TruJet and Star Air had moved some or most of their domestic flights to T1 in March. With effect from April 21, 2021, CSMIA will be conducting all international as well as domestic flight operations through its iconic advanced Terminal 2. All passengers of GoAir, Star Air, Air Asia, TruJet and IndiGo are requested to get in touch with the respective airlines for further queries, said a statement issued by the Mumbai

In view of the rapid spread of COVID-19 in Mumbai and the State government imposing multiple restrictions to handle the situation, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) has decided to shift all domestic passenger flights at Terminal 1 to Terminal 2.
The CSMIA will be operating all international as well as domestic flights through its Terminal 2 from April 21.
As a result, all domestic flights of GoAir, Star Air, Air Asia, TruJet and IndiGo, operating from Terminal 1, will be moved to Terminal 2

Owing to the continuous decline in air travel, Covid-19 norms and constant dip in passenger footfall, Mumbai International Airport Limited has now decided to re-consolidate all domestic passenger flights currently operating via Terminal 2. According to sources, this is also being done as a cost cutting measure.
“In light of the latest developments in the ongoing pandemic situation, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) has decided to re-consolidate all domestic passenger flights currently operating via Terminal 1,” a Company spokesperson said.
This means that with effect from April 21, 2021, CSMIA will be conducting all international as well as domestic flight operations through its Terminal 2.
