Two Possible Murder Suspects Detained At Santa Clarita Gas Station Two possible murder suspects were detained Friday morning at a Santa Clarita Valley gas station. UPDATE (2:30 p.m.): Deputies have taken one murder suspect into custody after he allegedly shot and killed a 19-year-old pregnant woman, Tatyanna Lopez, in the City of Merced Sunday, according to a statement from the Merced Police Department. A 20-year-old man was also injured in the shooting, and was taken to a trauma hospital with life threatening injuries, the statement read. Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s deputies were made aware that the suspect was possibly in the Castaic area, where two individuals were located, according to officials.
