Grand opening Wednesday for beer/wine bar
The La Mesa Chamber of Commerce hosts a grand opening Wednesday for Next Door Craft Beer & Wine Bar, 7235 El Cajon Blvd. The celebration and mixer starts at 5:30 p.m., with the “official” ribbon cutting at 6 p.m. Next Door Craft Beer & Wine Bar serves a top-notch selection of craft beer and has a selection of 52 wines to choose from. The bar also serves food cheese plates, meat and cheese plates, sandwiches, salads and more. Meet owners Arturo Alarid, Juan Alarid and Linda Baltodano, who will be offering Happy Hour pricing for beverages and serving appetizers. This event is free to Chamber members and $5 for guests. Representatives of the La Jolla Cluster Association, which contains the five La Jolla campuses in the San Diego Unified School District, heard details about the district’s adoption of restorative justice practices at the association’s May 20 meeting, the final one this school year.

Dad Christopher Wyrick found out Islam was being forced down his child’s throat in the San Diego Unified School District and slammed the board for it with other unhappy conservative parents.
The school board tried to shut him down as he went ballistic during a public meeting but that didn’t work out. The video of the event has since gone viral.
CAIR is teaming up with the left-wing district officials to teach all about Islam in his child’s school. They have incorporated a mandatory Islamic sensitivity training course in social studies under the guise of a fake anti-bullying campaign.
