LONDON: The Sikh Federation (UK) has organised a three-hour-long virtual Vaisakhi event on Saturday for members of the Sikh community in the UK and around the world.
“There will be a one-minute silence at the start of the event to not only mark the death of His Royal Highness, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, but also to pay respect to those killed and injured in the Indianapolis shooting in the US,” Harnek Singh, national press secretary of the Sikh Federation (UK), said in a press release.
