February 5 is a day etched into the minds of the Goodrich family after two-year-old Charliâs lung collapsed.
The toddler had been to the hospital multiple times that week, getting the âall-clearâ from doctors.
With no major warning signs the totâs health deteriorated quickly and Charli was flown from Kingaroy Hospital to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
Mum Letisha Goodrich said Charliâs health continued to deteriorate on her first night in hospital.
âWe learned she also had respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and pneumonia,â Mrs Goodrich said.
Charli was put on life-support as her body started âshutting downâ.
