For years, student behavioral issues have been a perennial problem in our local public schools.
Teachers, at times, have complained the administration doesn t back them up on discipline issues.
Jefferson City School District officials said they are making headway with the problem: Fewer students are being sent to the office due to behavior issues. Strategies to improve student behavior are working, they said.
