Asda store targeted three times by shoplifting duo

The pair stole toys, perfume and were caught removing security tags from aftershave. Alistair Brown, 35, of Macbeth Road and Amber Smith, 26, of Mackie Place, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court. The partners both admitted the offences at the Asda store, Fulmar Way, Hillend, which took place on three separate occasions in 2019. On September 24, they stole a quantity of toys, worth £78.40. On November 26, they stole a quantity of perfume, worth £115. On November 27, they removed security tags from items and attempted to steal a quantity of perfume and aftershave. Brown’s solicitor, Chris Sneddon, said that, at the time, his client had a cocaine addiction but had now stopped offending.

A DUNFERMLINE man found it difficult to accept an affair with a woman was over and began stalking her. Mahsum Koyuncu, from Dunfermline, pestered the woman with unwanted messages and turned up at her door with a Valentine’s Day card and roses. After that, the woman decided to contact the police and, as a result, Koyuncu appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court. Koynucu, 29, of Dewar Street, admitted that between January 1 last year and February 15 this year, he engaged in a course of conduct which caused a woman fear or alarm, by sending her numerous birthday cards, contacted her repeatedly by text messages or phone calls, asked her repeatedly to contact him, attended at her home, left flowers at the door and posted a card through her door, all in the knowledge that any contact was not wanted by her.
