Cheyenne Police Identify Man Killed in Accident at Frontier Park Public Information Officer Alex Farkas says Shoreman was getting out of the bed of a pickup that had slowed to a stop in traffic near Gate V12 when he lost his footing and fell, and the pickup driver pulled ahead with traffic and ran him over. Shoreman was taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Business as Usual for Police Since Open Container Law Took Effect

So far, it has been business as usual, Public Information Officer Alex Farkas told KGAB Radio. The ordinance permits the possession of open malt beverage and wine containers within the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) district boundaries every year between the Thursday before Memorial Day and Labor Day. During this time frame, open containers are allowed every day between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. in public spaces. Some KGAB listeners and Facebook followers, especially those with young children, have expressed concerns about public drinking during the Cheyenne Frontier Dayspancake breakfasts and parades.
