A deserted Fancy Bazar in Guwahati on Tuesday GUWAHATI: In view of the surging Covid positive cases in the state, Assam Class 10 and 12 state board exams have been postponed until further orders. Both Class 10 and 12 state boards were scheduled to begin from May 11, however, now they have been deferred until the health department gives a go ahead to conduct the exams. “In view of the prevailing situation of Covid-19 in the state of Assam, it has been decided to postpone the HSLC/AHM Examination 2021, scheduled to be held from 11 th May, 2021,” read the notification issued by Board of Secondary Education, Assam (Seba) on Tuesday. The order mentioned that the revised schedule of the Class 10 board exams will be announced shortly after consultation with the state health department.
