Hazzard: NSW ‘cast aside’ by other Australian states after vaccine plea
Health Minister Brad Hazzard has slammed other Australian states and territories for rejecting New South Wales’ vaccine plea as health authorities struggle to contain a Delta variant outbreak.

New South Wales has been “cast aside” by other Australian states and territories as the Delta outbreak continues to escalate, according to Health Minister Brad Hazzard.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison and other state premiers have rejected a desperate appeal for additional Pfizer vaccines to be sent to Sydney’s COVID-19 hotspots.
Mr Hazzard said by declaring a national emergency ’ yesterday, Chief Health Officer Kerry Chant was asking for help from her counterparts across the country.
