INDIANAPOLIS, May 21, 2021 /PRNewswire/ 120Water announced today the launch of its comprehensive Inventory Management Solution, an expanded offering that will help water systems build and validate their lead service line inventories - a foundational requirement for accessing pending federal infrastructure dollars and complying with new Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR). LCRR requires all public water systems to submit an inventory documenting service line materials for both the private and public side.

President Joe Biden’s $2.7 trillion infrastructure plan has sparked criticism from Republicans over what kinds of projects should be included under the category of “infrastructure.”
Last week, CNN anchor Poppy Harlow put the question to the Senate’s Democratic Majority Whip Dick Durbin, who responded with an example from his home state of Illinois.
“Well, I can tell you, I do not exclude clean drinking water from the responsibilities of government and not only dealing with public health issues but creating jobs in America,” Durbin said. “And we have 23% of all the lead pipe leads in America in the Chicagoland area. You bet I want to clean up this water supply, and I consider that infrastructure.”

As a favor to the community I m posting President Biden s order to agencies to undertake a review of Trump era environmental regulations.
Yesterday was also an important day for Mother Nature and the nation. The US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit unanimously tossed the Trump administration s replacement for Obama s Clean Power Plan (CPP) back to EPA. The Agency will now be coming out with some version of the CPP.
Look for my continuing comments on these and other Biden administration efforts to put the nation s economy on a low-carbon trajectory.
In the meantime, feel free to ask questions you might have. I ll do my best to answer them.
