Tomorrow is D-Day for the much awaited state mass Covid vaccination programme. After receiving the first batch of vaccines from AstraZeneca, the government which had been attacked for its shambolic vaccine management during the past two months seems to be in the driving seat.
The 2021 Nelson Mandela Award for Health Promotion (awarded by the South Africa Mandela Foundation) was presented to the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth) for its achievements in improving the health of every Thai citizen.
New Line channel provides counselling for those families needing help

The Covid-19 situation has had a big impact on many families who are struggling to survive financially and emotionally each day.
To help them get through this crisis, the Department of Women s Affairs and Family Development, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, has launched the Line Official Account: @linefamily which offers a private space for those seeking counselling to cope with various forms of problems.
Developed in collaboration with the Thai Health Promotion Foundation and a group of academics in family matters, the new platform comes with many categories of issues including family violence, how to build good relationships at home, child-raising, being a single mother during the crisis, and family law education.
