US gun control: Could Joe Biden s plan backfire?
President Joe Biden is calling for stricter gun laws. As gun control activists rejoice, gun owners see their right to self-defense at risk. They re saying the move could cost Democrats dearly.

With the spread of the coronavirus, 2020 was a year of uncertainty. In the United States, it was also a year of record gun sales. Even people who had never owned a firearm made their way into gun stores.
Roughly 40% of gun sales in the first four months of 2020 (pandemic lockdowns in the US began in March) were made by first-time buyers far higher than the annual average of 24% over the past 20 years, according to the National Shooting Sports Foundation, a trade association that tracks gun sales.

Pop icon Ricky Martin and onePulse Foundation have announced the OUTLOVE HATE campaign to raise funds for the Pulse memorial and museum.
In newly released statement Martin expressed his excitement for the new campaign, stating: “I’m excited to assist onePULSE Foundation with engagement and awareness-building opportunities as they build the National Pulse Memorial & Museum.”
He continued: The OUTLOVE HATE campaign is the perfect way to start our partnership.”
The new campaign is set to memorialize the Pulse Nightclub venue and the 49 lives that were taken after the horrific mass shooting that took place on 12 June 2016.
What is Good Pillow?
As per the publication, in an interview, Hogg said that they are in a really weird timeline adding, Weâre in a global pandemic, Iâm in college online because of that, and Iâm starting a pillow company as my second start-up all before I can even legally drink. The company has to be funded though, and who better than the person who first thought of it? Yes, LeGate, 26, is reportedly funding the venture . How? LeGate said, Iâm converting my bitcoin to pillows. Itâs either going to be the dumbest thing Iâve ever done or the smartest thing, so weâll see.â According to the publication, LeGate has committed $100,000 and he even stepped down as CEO of PredIQt on Monday, February 8.

David Hogg isn t getting much sleep.
The 20-year-old March for Our Lives co-founder and Parkland shooting survivor has plenty of pillows. He has been testing various kinds over the past four days.
But Hogg s days are packed, cramming meetings and homework into the early morning and night hours, the Harvard University student said, as he is attempting to create a pillow company to compete against MyPillow, which is led by staunch Trump supporter Mike Lindell. The idea for the company, first tweeted as a joke by Hogg s partner, software developer William LeGate, is becoming increasingly firm: The pair announced the name of their company, Good Pillow, on Tuesday night. Yet many aspects of the company are not fully formed and critics have thrown a wet blanket on the plan.
