As President-elect Joe Biden gave his final remarks in Delaware on January 19 before heading off to Washington, DC for his inauguration on January 20, the future commander-in-chief delivered an emotional speech to a small gathering thanking friends and family for all their support over the years. Beside him, his wife Jill Biden also appeared teary-eyed as she watched her husband s remarks, but didn t fail to make a statement with her purple ensemble.
Sporting a purple outfit ahead of Inauguration Day, the soon-to-be first lady wore a purple dress, coat and mask from New York-based designer Jonathan Cohen. Her clutch bag, which was from Tyler Ellis, also came in a bright purple shade.
