WILMINGTON – A colonial home. A dive bar. A downtown storefront. A quaint town square. A hometown restaurant.
Film and TV productions come and go in the Cape Fear region, but some leave an indelible mark on the area and turn a few places into iconic locations forever tied to the projects that brought them worldwide attention.
Promoting and maybe even giving notoriety to local businesses and towns has been one of the most prominent arguments for strengthening the North Carolina film industry, and a few Cape Fear sites are proof.
