An investigation between local and county law enforcement agencies continues after skeletal remains were discovered in Galloway Township earlier this week.
Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner says the Galloway Township Police Department contacted his agency Monday morning after human remains were found by a man in a wooded area at 187 South Pomona Road, which is located across the street from the sprawling Stockton University campus.

CAPE MAY COUNTY – A 3-year-old girl died this weekend after falling into a septic tank in Cape May County, prosecutors said.
The 3-year-old girl died after falling into a septic tank at a campground in the Erma section of Lower Township, according to the Cape May County Prosecutor s Office.
The incident happened at 9:27 pm on Saturday when the Lower Township Police Department received a 911 call for medical assistance and responded to Sun Outdoors Campground on the 600 block of Route 9, prosecutors said.

A three-year old girl is dead after falling in a septic tank at a Cape May County campground Saturday evening.
Lower Township Police Department say they responded to a call for medical assistance at Sun Outdoors Campground, in the 600 block of Route 9 in Erma.
When police arrived they found the girl had apparently fallen accidently in to the sewage septic tank and had been pulled out unresponsive.
The girl was immediately transported to Cape Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced dead later that evening. The child s name has not been released.
