POOR driving conditions with heavy rain caused a a vehicle to leave the carriageway and fall down a verge. Late Sunday evening, firefighters from Bicester and Kidlington attended reports of a road traffic collision involving a single vehicle on the M40 Junction 9-9A. Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said: In poor driving conditions with heavy rain crews managed to locate the incident and found the single vehicle which had left the carriageway and gone into the verge. Thankfully the driver only suffered minor injuries despite severe damage to the car and managed to get themselves out before our arrival, crews administered first aid and made the scene safe before leaving the incident in the hands of South Central Ambulance Service and Thames Valley Police.
