  Jun 09, 2021 01:14:13 PM Fiji Labour Party Leader Mahendra Chaudhry says the government s decision to relax border controls was a wrong move given the rapidly increase of coronavirus cases in the last few days. Chaudhry said government s failure to properly manage the spread of the virus has landed the country in a critical state. He in a statement said hospitals and even the Health Ministry headquarters have not been spared from its onslaught. “This is largely due to the lack of a coherent strategy to fight the pandemic, coupled with huge gaps in the enforcement of the anti-coronavirus protocols by the authorities,” he said.
