936,383 people so far vaccinated against COVID-19 across Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: A total of 936,383 COVID-19 doses have so far been administered across the Country, as per the data released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Monday.
The data showed that 265,831 COVID-19 doses were administered last week.
Meanwhile, the registration and vaccination process for Citizens from 60 and above years of age is underway across the Country whereas Citizens aged 50 to 59 years of age can also now register themselves to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - It was announced Monday that the process of vaccinating young citizens against Covid-19 will be started in phases. Next month, more of the country’s population will be vaccinated.
Talking to media after inauguration of a vaccination center in Islamabad, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on National Health Services Dr Faisal Sultan informed about the government’s decision and said that it is ensuring uninterrupted supply of vaccines as planned.
The Special Assistant said that vaccines were being administered in a systematic manner while the government was also buying vaccines for the citizens. He appealed the public to follow the SOPs to contain the spread of COVID-19.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has kicked off the second phase of the COVID-19 vaccination drive focusing the people over the age of 60.
According to an official of the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, the most senior citizens who have registered for vaccination will receive an SMS with instructions on their mobile phones and the oldest persons will be vaccinated first.
“The senior-most citizens will be the first ones to receive the doses of COVID-19 vaccine,” Special Assistant to Prime Minister on National Health Services Dr. Faisal Sultan said on Tuesday.
The health department started the registration of people over the age of 60 for the immunization program from February 15. They had asked citizens to send a text message at 1166 or enter their details at the national immunization management system (NIMS) website.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on National Health Services Dr. Faisal Sultan on Wednesday has said an effective mechanism has been developed to ensure administration of anti-Covid vaccine to the people.
Briefing the media persons at the National Command and Operation Center in Islamabad, the special assistant said adult vaccine centers have been established across the country with the capacity to administer vaccine to forty thousand people on daily basis.
