The NFL and National Football League Players Association are several days and one game away from completing a full season on time amid the coronavirus pandemic despite multiple teams enduring outbreaks that caused postponements and also fears that Super Bowl LV wouldn t occur at Raymond James Stadium on Feb. 7 due to rescheduled games.
On Wednesday, NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith was asked during an appearance on ESPN s Keyshawn, JWill & Zubin show if the union would considering pushing the Super Bowl back a week or two if a superstar such as Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady or Kansas City Chiefs signal-caller and reigning Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Patrick Mahomes recorded a positive COVID-19 test before Sunday.

The company, which employs more than 800 000 people in the US, has long trained managers to spot and snuff out nascent labour activism.
However, the Covid-19 outbreak has ignited employee activism of unprecedented intensity.
Amazon.com Inc. has unleashed a public-relations campaign at its warehouse in Bessemer, Alabama in the US, hoping to persuade more than 5 800 workers to reject the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU).
Employees have been ordered to attend meetings where managers sow doubts about the unionisation drive, according to two workers who attended. The meetings typically last about half an hour and target about 15 employees at a time, one said, frustrating workers because they fall behind in their duties during the sessions and have to catch up later.
