Adani Enterprises share rose nearly 4% today after the Adani Group firm said it won a Rs 1,169.10 crore highway project in Odisha from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The contract has been awarded to Adani Enterprises wholly-owned subsidiary Adani Road Transport Ltd (ARTL).
NEW DELHI: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on Monday filed draft papers with markets regulator Sebi for floating an Infrastructure Investment Trust (InVIT) through which it seeks to raise Rs 5,100 crore. InvITs are instruments on the pattern of mutual funds and are designed to pool small sums of money from a number of investors to invest in assets that give cash flow over a period of time. NHAI plans to mop up total of Rs 5,100 crore through fresh issue, as per the draft papers filed with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi). In addition, there would be an offer-for-sale (OFS). However, the OFS amount has not been specified in the draft papers.
IL&FS receives ₹693 crore settlement claims for 2 road projects from NHAI
The KNCEL project was foreclosed under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) guidelines of March 2019 for incomplete or stalled projects.

MUMBAI : IL&FS Transportation Networks Ltd (ITNL), a subsidiary of IL&FS, on Sunday said it has received a settlement amount of ₹673 crore for Kiratpur Ner Chowk Expressway (KNCEL) and ₹20 crore towards claims for Chenani Nashri Tunnelway (CNTL), from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
Ghaziabad: Commuters driving from Delhi to Meerut will get the first full expressway experience beginning Thursday when the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) opens the remaining two of the four phases of the Delhi-Meerut Expressway (DME) to traffic for a trial run.
If one is using the access-controlled lanes of the expressway the six middle lanes, three on either side the 82km drive from Delhi’s Sarai Kale Khan to Meerut will take under an hour. Earlier, the drive between the two cities used to take at least two hours. The formal inauguration of the expressway will, however, take place in about two months.

The company has received Letter of Award from NHAI for the project of Rehabilitation and Upgradation to Four Lane configuration & Strengthening of Punjab/HP Border. of NH-20 (New NH-154) of Pathankot-Mandi Section in the state of Himachal Pradesh on Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM), the company said in a regulatory filing to the BSE.
