Older black adults remain the ethnic group least likely to have received a coronavirus jab, with figures suggesting around three in 10 have not been vaccinated.
The lowest rates were estimated among those aged 50 and over identifying as black Caribbean and black African, at 66.8% and 71.2% respectively, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said.
This compares with 93.7% of white British adults, with estimates for all ethnic minority groups lower than this.
Rates were also estimated to be lower in people of Muslim or Buddhist faiths, those who do not speak English, those living in more deprived areas and disabled people.

By Louise Hill, LDR Reporter
Nine out of ten over 75 to 79-year-olds on the Isle of Wight have had both COVID vaccines.
Nearing the five-month mark, the Covid-19 vaccine rollout has continued on the Island with 8,412 first and second doses given to Islanders in the week ending May 2.
With the news a third jab could be offered in the autumn to over 50s, the focus is still on getting people fully immunised having received their two doses.
A Covid-19 vaccine. In the latest data, which is recorded by the National Immunisation Management Service (NIMS), 47,393 people have now had both vaccinations, an increase of 7,550 from a week ago.
HEXHAM MP Guy Opperman has welcomed the latest release of data from NHS England on the roll out of the Covid-19 vaccination. The statistical release on April 22, which covers the period from December 8, 2020 to April 18, 2021 showed the Hexham constituency has the highest rate in England for giving 75–79-year-olds at least one dose of the vaccine. The rate is 98.14 per cent. The data also shows a very high general take up in the constituency, across all the age groups so far invited to come forward (between 89 – 98 per cent). In the two weeks since the programme was opened to the 45-49 age group, 50 per cent within the constituency have taken up the offer of a vaccine.
