New Delhi, May 11 : Witnessing a sharp decline, India recorded 3,29,942 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours with 3,876 fatalities, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said here on Tuesday.
On Friday, India had recorded the highest ever 4,14,188 cases.
In the past 19 days India s daily Covid tally has risen by over three lakh cases and over 3,000 casualties have been reported for the last 13 days.
India s total tally of Covid-19 cases now stands at 2,29,92,517 with 37,15,221 active cases and a total of 2,49,992 deaths so far.

NHRC asks Centre, states to set up universal COVID-19 dashboards
The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on Tuesday emphasized that the Centre and States need to put their acts together in order to meet the urgent response needed amid the second wave of the pandemic raging through the country by setting up universally functional Covid-19 dashboards. The dashboard will help in providing real-time information in the public domain on the availability of hospital beds, oxygen, critical care medicines and devices.
The commission also asked for setting up 24X7 functional toll-free help lines and fixing the prices of Covid treatment resources.

According to the Health Ministry, a total of 3,56,082 people have been discharged in the last 24 hours, while 1,90,27,304 people have been cured from Covid till date.

New Delhi [India], May 11 (ANI): The proposed COVID-19 vaccination camp which was scheduled to be held at GSD Complex, Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi on Tuesday and Thursday, has been cancelled as government authorities have expressed inability to hold these camps due to non-availability of vaccines.
An official letter issued by Air India stated: The proposed COVID vaccination Camp at GSD Complex, IGIA (Delhi) on May 11 and 13 stands canceled because government authorities have expressed inability to hold these camps due to non-availability of vaccines.
However, the fresh dates will be notified once Air India get re-confirmation from government authorities.
