India s COVID-19 vaccination coverage exceeds 9.80 cr mark ANI | Updated: Apr 10, 2021 14:25 IST New Delhi [India], April 10 (ANI): The cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country on Friday exceeded 9.80 crores, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Saturday. According to the health ministry, cumulatively 9,80,75,160 vaccine doses have been administered through 14,75,410 sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am today. Nearly 34 lakh vaccination doses were administered in the last 24 hours. Eight states account for 60.62 per cent of the total doses given so far in the country, the ministry said. As of day-84 of the vaccination drive on April 9, 34,15,055 vaccine doses were given. Out of which, 30,06,037 beneficiaries were vaccinated across 46,207 sessions for 1st dose and 4,09,018 beneficiaries received 2nd dose of the vaccine.
