New Delhi [India], February 9 (ANI): Asserting that the Union Budget 2021-22 promotes entrepreneurship, international trade and enhance business confidence, both for stakeholders doing domestic and international business, Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Tuesday said India will expand its production by 20 lakh crores.
While interacting with media through video-conferencing, Commerce and Industry Minister Goyal said, Through a series of announcements of production linked incentives, the government has come up with measures which will expand production ecosystem by about Rs 20 lakh crores. New Delhi: Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Sunday said the government is ready to resume talks with the farmers protesting the new farm laws but asserted that despite repeated proposals, the protesters have not come up with any concrete suggestion so far.
Reiterating Prime Minister Narendra Modi s appeal to farmer unions that the government was just a phone away to discuss any issues raised by them, Goyal said but for that somebody at least has to make call so that we can move forward .

India’s domestic air passenger traffic grew 3.5% sequentially in January indicating a recovery is underway from the turmoil caused by strict curbs on travel last year.
About 7.6 million passengers travelled on domestic routes last month, credit rating agency Icra said in a statement on Monday. The figure, however, marked a 41% decline from a year earlier.

New Delhi [India], February 7 (ANI): Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi s efforts dealing with the COVID-19 situation in the country, Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Sunday said that India is the only country that focused on Jeevan , followed by Jeevika during the time of the pandemic. PM Modi first aimed at saving human lives and then getting economy on track. Several countries prioritised economy over human lives, but India is the only country that focused on Jeevan , followed by Jeevika, Goyal said while addressing a press conference here.
The government has held 11 rounds of talks with farmer leaders, the last one being held on January 22 before the tractor parade on January 26 which ended in violent clashes between the police and the protestors.
