The video sees Kher and the Union Health Minister having a conversation at the lawmaker s residence and enjoying a stroll in his garden. President Ram Nath Kovind on Saturday launched the Pulse Polio Programme for 2021 by administering polio drops to children less than five years old at the Rashtrapati Bhawan, in the presence of Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, and Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare. The President and First Lady Savita Kovind administered polio drops to children on the eve of the Polio National Immunization Day, which is observed on the 31st January 2021 (Sunday), also popularly known as Polio Ravivar.

India sees 11,666 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours
The coronavirus tally in India has reached 1,07,01,193 on Thursday with 11,666 fresh cases while the number of active cases stands at 1,73,740, as per Union Health Ministry daily bulletin. 78 per cent of the active cases are concentrated in five states â Kerala, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, and West Bengal. While Maharashtra and Kerala consist of 70 per cent of the infections.
Addressing a press conference over the coronavirus situation in India, Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan said, 147 districts in the country haven t seen a case of COVID-19 in last 7 days, while 18 haven t seen a case in the last 14 days.

The number of people who have tested positive for the new UK variant of Covid-19 in India has climbed to 165, the government announced on Thursday.
This comes as Pfizer and BioNTech, makers of a Covid-19 vaccine, today said that their product is effective against the coronavirus variants that have emerged in the United Kingdom and South Africa.

Harsh Vardhan s statement comes as the worldwide tally of COVID-19 cases surpassed the 100 million mark on Wednesday, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University. The US continues to be the worst affected country with 25,407,414 cases.
