The decision came a day after the central education board, CBSE, announced cancellation of Class 10 exams and postponement of Class 12 final exams.
For Class 10 students, details of the objective criteria will be announced later and students who remain unsatisfied with their results will be given another chance to clear the exam, when the COVID-19 situation improves, an official statement said.
Intermediate final year students with backlogs will get minimum passing marks for those subjects.
Twenty five per cent weightage for Telangana’s entrance exam, TS EAMCET, will not be considered this year.

Seeking the minister s early intervention, the chief minister noted that it was difficult to precisely predict as to when the surge in the COVID-19 cases will be arrested and by when will we see a consistently declining trend.

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) said that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has also said to cancel the upcoming board examinations for classes 10 and 12 on Tuesday. in this regard.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia appealed to the Center to cancel the examination, saying that examination centers can become super spreaders and alternative methods for evaluation should be explored.
CBSE officials denied any change in the plan “yet” and reiterated that arrangements were being made to ensure social disturbances by increasing the examination centers by more than 50 percent. The examinations are scheduled to begin on May 4.
