New Delhi [India], January 7 (ANI): Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Thursday announced the eligibility criteria for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the date of the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2021 as July 3, 2021.
The JEE (Advanced) 2021 exam will be conducted by IIT-Kharagpur. JEE (Advanced) 2022 will be conducted by IIT-Bombay and JEE (Advanced) 2023 will be conducted by IIT-Guwahati.
The Union Education Minister announced that the government has decided to again remove the minimum marks eligibility criteria for admission to IIT which was earlier pegged at 75 per cent.

Ending months of uncertainty among students aspiring to get admission in IIT, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ on Thursday announced that JEE Advanced will be held on July 3.
In view of difficulties faced by students during coronavirus pandemic, Pokhriyal said that this year too, students willing to get admission in IITs will not be required to meet the criterion of minimum 75 percent marks in class 12.

NEW DELHI: The JEE-Advanced test for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology will be conducted on July 3, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced on Thursday.
The relaxation in admission requirement of 75 per cent marks in class 12 which was announced last year in view of Covid-19 pandemic will be offered this year as well, he said. Like last year, this year too we have removed the minimum 75% marks (aggregate in XII class) criteria for appearing in the JEE Advanced examination, as it will allow more candidates to take the test. This year the IIT-Kharagpur will conduct the test on July 3, 2021 , education minister Pokhriyal announced on Twitter.

BATHINDA: Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Thursday stressed on the need to train students as well as teachers for the successful implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
He emphasised that NEP 2020 is revolutionary in all aspects, as it focusses on multiple aspects like promoting one s native language at primary level education, imparting vocational skills training for students at the secondary level and other innovative reforms.
He said the NEP touches upon the interdisciplinary studies and integrated course curriculum in higher education for wider learning opportunities, with an aim to provide value-based holistic education, development of scientific temper and imparting skill training to the youth of India.
