Dates for the 2021 CBSE board examinations will be declared on the evening of December 31, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced on social media on Saturday.
The central board earlier made two major announcements about the 2021 board examinations that they will not begin in January or February, and that they will be conducted as physical written exams and not as online examinations.

In good news for students, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reduced the syllabus for the board exams by 30 per cent. While interacting with teachers on Tuesday, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board examinations will be held in 2021 on a reduced syllabus. “Over 30% of the total syllabus has been cut and some states have also announced a similar move while others are expected to do the same,” he said.
