MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - The City of Myrtle Beach is investing in its future by creating a co-work space for young entrepreneurs.
Itâs called the HTC Aspire Hub, and renovations are set to begin next month.
For one business professor, itâs a resource he wishes was available when he moved here to start his business.
âI originally came to the Grand Strand as an entrepreneur myself, started a business back in the mid-2000â²s,â said Pete Gasca, a member of the Myrtle Beach Technology Advisory Group. âI was surprised how little entrepreneur focus there was here.â

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – Myrtle Beach is one of just 14 organizations in South Carolina to receive grant money from the state to support entrepreneurship and innovation, the city announced Monday.
The $55,000 grant comes courtesy of the South Carolina Department of Commerce’s Office of Innovation, according to the city of Myrtle Beach.
