Rogers, 45, is the former owner of the now-defunct British Auto Repair in Napa who was arrested Jan. 16 after a tip from a disgruntled former employee led authorities to a safe containing five pipe bombs at his business. Subsequent searches of Rogersâ home, business, and storage shed resulted in the discovery of more than 50 guns, some illegal or unregistered, and 15,000 rounds of ammunition, the Register previously reported.Â

Two Napa Valley grape growers have filed a lawsuit against a winery and its owner for more than $500,000 for allegedly breaching a wine grape contract, according to court records.
In 2019, the winery Anderson’s Conn Valley agreed to buy fruit from 2019 through 2022 from Dan and Jerry Linstad’s vineyard on Hagen Road on the edge of Napa, according to the lawsuit. The growers and the winery near St. Helena agreed to the terms of the contract in 2019.
Anderson’s Conn Valley accepted the Linstads’ grapes in 2019 but allegedly did not pay for the fruit, according to the court filing. The winery then refused to accept the fruit from the 2020 vintage, according to the complaint filed May 6 in Napa County Superior Court.
