I was straight through to the emergency department, it seemed I was having a CT scan for my head very quickly and then it was onto a ward. The staff work 12-hour shifts constantly without complaint. They re always cheerful and I take my hat off to all of them, they re so committed to the work they do.
Mr Cumber was not far from his house, cycling around the Sheringham War Memorial roundabout, when he was knocked off his bike and sustained a head injury as well as extensive bruising. I was going around the roundabout when I was aware of a car edging out from the north side, and I ve got no recollection from that point onwards.
After being in hospital for 10 days and showing signs of progress, Jessica was discharged only to return to hospital in early November.
Days later she was sectioned under the Mental Health Act, and now can only eat liquid food through a nasogastric tube.
She is currently waiting for a space in a specialist eating disorder unit – the nearest of which is in Cambridge – where she can continue her treatment, but coronavirus has prolonged her wait for a place.
But Kathryn, from Norwich – who has been prevented from returning home or resuming her work as a community carer due to restrictions – has praised the “lovely” hospital staff for their efforts.

Vulnerable families and households will be able to receive a free roast dinner thanks to pub managers and their customers.
While restrictions have prevented Trina Lake, 41, and fiance Bradley Richards, 33, serving drinks at the Crown in Costessey, they have started cooked food deliveries.
And after a successful first week of delivering hot roast dinners they want to deliver the Sunday treat to vulnerable families or households who are struggling financially.
The couple are working with local councillors to identify people who would benefit from the offer.

A keep fit business owner is urging others that think they need urgent medical care to not put off seeking help.
Michelle Lucas, from Watton, has lived with endometriosis since she was 14 and began experiencing abdominal pain.
Initially thinking it was to do with her condition, she said she did not want to bother services due to the pandemic, but after experiencing bowel mucus and vomiting she was advised by 111 operators and her doctor to go to the emergency department.

A woman is to stand trial accused of causing the deaths of a husband and wife in a road crash in Norfolk.
Andrew and Jean Crawford died on Wednesday, August 28 last year, after the white Kia Rio car they were travelling in was involved in a collision with a Peugeot 206 on the A1075 at Great Hockham.
