Residents of the Fairfield, Canterbury-Bankstown, and Liverpool council areas have also been barred from travelling outside their LGAs.
Employees in those areas of essential businesses will not be able to go to work if their place of employment is outside their LGA, unless they are healthcare or emergency services workers.
Disability and aged care workers are also exempt, but all must be tested for COVID-19 every three days.

People are allowed to enter those council areas to deliver essential supplies and services.
Not only are all other businesses to be shut down for the next two weeks, but employers who order employees into work when they could be working from home, will face a $10,000 fine.

Former Gold Coast restaurant operator penalised
The Fair Work Ombudsman has secured a penalty in the Federal Circuit Court against the former operator of a Gold Coast restaurant.
The Federal Circuit Court has imposed a penalty of $3396.60 against Mr Seouk Woong Hong, who formerly operated a Korean restaurant trading as Sogongdong Tofu House at Southport.
The penalty was imposed in response to Mr Hong being involved in failing to comply with a Compliance Notice requiring the back-payment of entitlements to three former employees at the restaurant.
The Court made orders allowing the penalty to be paid to the three former employees to partially rectify the underpayments, which remain outstanding.
