The former Renee Young worked extensively with all three brands under WWE’s banner, serving as a backstage reporter, pre-show host, and even color commentator. Even though Paquette’s move to the announce booth came suddenly, she did spend months early in her WWE tenure as a member of NXT’s commentary team.
Speaking to Wrestling Inc. Managing Editor Nick Hausman on the
, Paquette noted she looks back on her time as a member of RAW’s announce team fondly, but admits she felt the weight of being the first woman in that role significantly.

Back in February it was reported there was a creative dispute between Impact Wrestling and AEW star Sammy Guevara, who allegedly refused to work a few singles matches on Impact TV – to further the collaboration between the two wrestling promotions.
During his recent appearance on
The Wrestling Inc. Daily, Guevara was asked about those reports.
“You know a lot of stuff was said, but it’s just business at the end of the day,” Guevara said. “I know I didn’t really say nothing out there, and all this stuff [reports] that came out was only coming from one side. Some of it wasn’t true, I really don’t want to comment too much on it.

Producer of The Brian Pillman Memorial Show 20th Anniversary Anthology, Joe Dombrowski, was on today’s episode of
The Wrestling Inc. Daily. Dombrowski and Wrestling Inc. Managing Editor Nick Hausman discussed the influence of Brian Pillman on the industry as well as current AEW talent being included in the anthology.
“Obviously it’s a great feeling to know that all these years later, the talent still speak so highly of Brian, and there’s that kind of welcoming working relationship in the wrestling business that allows the talent to to kind of spread their wings and do some of these projects,” Dombrowski expressed. “I was so happy to have Chris Jericho involved. So happy to have Matt Hardy involved. Certainly guys like Mark Henry, and Shane Douglas and Dr. Tom Prichard added so much and I got to give a lot of credit, as far as boots on the ground, to Brian Jr.

WWE Hall of Famer Mr. T was on today’s episode of
The Wrestling Inc. Daily. Wrestling Inc. Managing Editor Nick Hausman asked Mr. T about his memories of the first
WrestleMania where he teamed up with Hulk Hogan to take on Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff.
“When I met with Vince McMahon and Hulk, Hulk was telling me about it because remember, me Hulk Hogan, we go back because we were in
Rocky III together, then he did a couple episode of
The A-Team,” Mr. T noted. “He was friends with Cyndi Lauper, and everyone came in and said, ”Wow, you’re getting Mr. T in!’ We did the contract, and now it’s serious. Now we gotta train. Now I gotta learn the moves. I knew wrestling in Chicago. Two-time state champ but like I said, this is professional wrestling because I remember as a kid, Dick The Bruiser and The Crusher being from Wisconsin. I remember Sweet Daddy Siki and Bearcat Wright.
