Just more than four months after the mother of 38-year-old Brandon Arndt asked an Olmsted District Court judge for leniency for the 22-year-old charged in connection with her son s murder, the North Mankato, Minn., man asked to be sent to prison.
According to court records, Darien Klindworth-Woods requested on Jan. 15 to execute a stayed 46-month prison sentence. He is being held at the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center without right to bail pending his move to state prison. He will receive credit for 374 days already served.

MANKATO â Drugs and a loaded gun allegedly were found in the Mankato apartment of a man who fled from police.
Walter Deangelo Green, 21, was charged with felony fleeing police and felony drug crimes Thursday in Blue Earth County District Court.
According to the court complaint:
A sheriff deputy stopped Green for driving without headlights and running a red light at Stadium Road and Monks Avenue around 12:15 a.m. Thursday. Green drove away after the deputy got out of his squad.
The deputy pursued Green to an apartment complex on Homestead Road, where Green ran into a building.

MAPLETON â A man allegedly tried to flee from Mapleton police officers but did not get very far after crashing into a snowbank.
Officers tried to stop Paul Peter Jal, 21, of Mankato, for having expired license plate tabs Wednesday afternoon and he went around a squad and sped off, according to a court complaint. He allegedly ran the stop sign at Central Avenue and Silver Street then lost control of his vehicle and hit a snow bank and curb.
Jal then reportedly got out and ran but he was caught.
Jal was charged Thursday in Blue Earth County District Court with felony fleeing police in a vehicle and misdemeanor fleeing police on foot.

MANKATO â A young man who is facing sexual assault accusations is now also accused of restraining and kissing a 12-year-old girl.
Devon Taylor Sather, 20, of Medford, was charged with felony counts of false imprisonment and stalking Tuesday in Blue Earth County District Court.
In August a girl said Sather came to her Mankato residence and kissed her, pulled her to the ground, held her down and kissed her again. She said he told him to stop but he continued to hold her down and kiss her before he let her go and told her not to tell anyone.
Sather told an investigator he only hugged the girl, according to a court complaint. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
