On 11 May 2021Dredging Corporation of India (DCI) has commenced the Maintenance Dredging at Approach Channel, Entrance Channel, Turning Circle, Docks, Mahanadi & Sand Trap of Paradip Port Trust, Paradip, Odisha for the year 2021-22 on 11 May 2021. Portsmouth Harbour dredging project starts in late March March 15, 2021, by Zlatan Hrvacevic Boskalis Westminster Ltd. is about to kick off a Surveying and Maintenance Dredging project in the Portsmouth Harbour. According to the Queen’s Harbour Master Portsmouth, the surveying and maintenance dredging of the Portsmouth Harbour and its approach channels will be conducted from 22 to 30 March 2021. For the works, the contractor will use the “plough” vessel “FASTNET SOUND” (LOA 27m) and trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) “WATERWAY” (LOA 97.7m) with the support vessel “SHORELINE” carrying out survey operations. “All vessels will display the appropriate signals when conducting survey and dredging operations,” the Harbour Master said. “Mariners are requested to keep a good lookout and pass at slow speed while dredging operations are being conducted.”
