The university’s community pantry is open every Sunday from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Those who will be queuing up are required to wear their face masks and face shield, observe physical distancing, and bring their quarantine passes.
Seniors and minors are not allowed to fall in line.
Meanwhile, Adamson University’s San Vicente de Paul Parish has also put up its own community pantry located along San Marcelino in Ermita, Manila.

Called the St. Vincent de Paul Parish Community Pantry, the initiative was organized by the church’s parish priest Fr. Joel Rescober in coordination with the Basic Ecclesiastical Community.

How did you get your first break in the industry?
As a fresh grad, I did everything to get noticed by the big names. Cold calls. “Gimmicky” CVs. Freestyle rapping in interviews. Name it. I probably did it.
When I finally got into my dream agency in Manila, which was Ace Saatchi and Saatchi, I was ecstatic! I would enter the Saatchi House wide-eyed with a huge smile on my face like a kid in a candy shop. It was a great place to learn and train in my formative years in advertising.
What is your personal mantra?
Barangay Ginebra stalwart Aljon Mariano has shown support to the community pantry set up by one of the go-to places of Thomasians around University of Santo Tomas.

Only one public university from the Philippines – Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) – was ranked among the world’s best universities in this year’s Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings.
Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) is the only public university in the 2021 Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings.
The Commission on Higher Education (CHED), in a statement issued April 22, confirmed that the TAU is the only State University in the country that made it to the 2021 THE Impact Rankings.
“TAU has continuously improved its ranking among SUCs [State Universities and Colleges] and has achieved Level 4 status in the last CHED leveling exercise,” CHED Chairman J. Prospero E. De Vera III said.
