Chairmen and members of key council committees will also be sworn into their posts as the council looks to set out its stall for the coming four years.
And new councillors elected to County Hall will get their first opportunity to speak up for their communities after getting their mandate at the start of the month.

Unvaccinated people six times more likely to develop COVID-19, says Seychelles

Seychelles, which has vaccinated a greater proportion of its population against the coronavirus than any other country, said unvaccinated citizens are six times more likely to develop COVID-19 than those who have taken the inoculations.
The nation of 98,000 people has experienced a surge in infections even though 65 per cent of the population have taken two doses of a vaccine. Most of those infected haven’t been inoculated, the health ministry said in a presentation on Thursday.
The Seychelles has vaccinated about 65 per cent of its population.
The Indian Ocean archipelago imposed restrictions, including a ban on mingling between households this month, to try reduce infections. The country has been using shots from Sinopharm and Astrazeneca and said while a number of fully vaccinated people were infected, none had died.

Health information group Wilmington Healthcare has announced the appointment of Kirsty Fryer (pictured above) as its new solutions director.
Fryer has worked at Wilmington Healthcare since 2015, serving as a solutions consultant at the company since November 2017.
During this time, she has developed from a ‘bespoke’ researcher supporting the organisation to joining the solutions team working with real-world evidence.
She has a PhD in neurophysiology from the University of Nottingham and is also currently undertaking an MBA.
