Lobos Head to California for West Coast Relays ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.  The University of New Mexico track and field team heads to Clovis, Calif., to compete in the West Coast Relays tabbed to take place April 30 at Veteran Memorial Stadium. The Lobos have been busy this season, competing in three different meets last weekend alone. Senior Jamari Drake made program history in the high jump at the Don Kirby Tailwind Open last weekend, jumping at a mark of 1.81m (5-11.25). The outdoor record was previously set at 5′ 10 3/4″ and had been done three times before, the last time being in 2002. Drake’s outdoor performance earned her first place and is the fourth-best mark in the NCAA this season.

April 30, 2021 Ideum, an interactive design firm that focuses on installations for public spaces, has teamed with the University of New Mexico s marketing and communications department on a display at Alburquerque International Sunport showcasing cultural offerings that celebrate the New Mexico film industry, according to an Ideum blog. The 86-inch display, embedded with custom cabinetry, welcomes travelers to New Mexico and prospective University of New Mexico students. Adorned in UNM graphics and cherry and lobo grey colors, the display features an Ideum inline display integrated into an 11-foot enclosure built by Ideum s fabrication studio. The university s captioned marketing videos are run through an internal PC, a Brightsign player and a cellular modem to allow university staff to remotely update content.
