New Utah license plate to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and the work of MLK © Provided by KUTV Salt Lake City Utah residents can soon choose a new license plate design that celebrates inclusion, diversity, and the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Utah Department of Heritage and Arts announced in a press release. The Martin Luther King Jr. Human Rights Commission has announced the winning artwork of their license plate design contest. The winning artwork, created by Timpview High School student Eleanor Smith, was selected by a review committee consisting of commissioners, state representatives, and other local leaders, and will be used on the new Martin Luther King, Jr. Special License Plate. Eight contest finalists will virtually celebrate their artwork with the Utah Jazz.
