Vietjet Takes Delivery of Two More Airbus A321neo ACF Aircraft
(09 Feb 2021) Vietjet took delivery of two more Airbus A321neo ACF (Airbus Cabin Flex) aircraft on Monday, 8 February 2021.
As per regulations, the two 240-seat aircraft were immediately cleaned and disinfected thoroughly upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Saigon.
The aircraft will be put into use straight away, ready to meet demand during the Lunar New Year holiday.
In 2020, Vietjet operated 78,462 flights with 120,093 safe flight hours, flying more than 15 million passengers.
The airline has recorded positive operating indexes, with load factors standing at over 80% while On-Time Performance (OTP) exceeds the globally-high at over 90%.

In his address at a government meeting on February 8 discussing how effective to cope with the swiftly spreading virus, the Government leader asked HCM City authorities to stay calm and spare no efforts in containing the outbreak while encouraging residents to strictly follow the Ministry of Health’s 5K (in Vietnamese) message: Khau trang (facemask) – Khu khuan (disinfection) – Khoang cach (distance) – Khong tu tap (no gathering) – Khai bao y te (health declaration).

Minh City continues to operate normally after one of the
airport staff tested positive for the coronavirus on February 6, according
to airport authorities.
Pham
Vu Cuong, deputy director of the airport, said: “The infected employee did not
come into contact with passengers because he works for the luggage loading
service. His infection has not affected the airport’s operation.”
“The
airport has activated the highest level of pandemic prevention measures since
the northern outbreak in
Hai Duong and Quang Ninh provinces,” he added.
