BGSBU switches to online classes again
Rajouri, Apr 08: Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) in view of rise in COVID-19 cases, has decided to hold online classes again except those of school of Biosciences & Biotechnology.
Officials told that in view of the alarming resurgence of COVID-19 pandemic and the persistent advisory of the government to strictly adhere to all standard SOPs and protocols in vogue for prevention and safeguard against spread of COVID-19 pandemic, the competent authority has ordered that all the ongoing offline PG classes except those of school of Biosciences & Biotechnology will be reverted back to online mode with immediate effect until further order

JAMMU, Feb 28: Maintaining that Congress is 150 year old party, National Conference (NC) president and former Chief Minister, Dr Farooq Abdullah today said he wanted the Congress to remain united and strong to fight “divisive forces” in the country.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a Shivratri Milan organised by a group of Kashmiri Pandits here today, NC president said that every body wants the Statehood should be restored to J&K but when it will be restored either they (Central Government) or God knows.

Jammu: The first meeting of J&K Biodiversity Council was today held here at Van Bhawan, Jammu under the Chairmanship of Principal Chief Conservator Forests/HoFF & Chairman Biodiversity Council, J&K, Dr. Mohit Gera.
The Biodiversity Council was constituted by Government of Jammu & Kashmir with the objective of conservation of biological diversity, sustainable use of its components and fair and equitable sharing of benefits arising out of the use of biological resources and knowledge.
During the meeting, the council was apprised of the progress made on constitution of Biodiversity Management Committees and status on preparation of People’s Biodiversity Registers in UT of Jammu & Kashmir.
