As before, the GND aims to eliminate all use of fossil fuels for energy production over the next decade because we face a climate âemergency.â Back when AOC first introduced her climate plan, it received so much deserved criticism for being an impossible pipe dream that she dubiously claimed it was just a working draft that was accidentally released early.
