MURFREESBORO, Tenn. Middle Tennessee State University is one of 16 institutions across the country participating in the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities’ Powered by Publics initiative to each receive an additional $15,000 investment and support to advance student-centered transformation.
The cohort of participating institutions will engage in an in-depth institutional needs assessment, share student success data, and receive targeted professional development and technical assistance based on needs in advising, college readiness policy and practice, and digital learning. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is funding the effort.

Will the work be displayed as a book or as wall-

We have a display set of the individual broadsides that are mounted for presentation on the wall. We will also have the boxed sets visible in a display case.
What got you going on “Fences” and “Traces”?
I began working on landscape photographs that were based on the U.S. border with Mexico in 2008-09 when I was on a sabbatical from the UO and teaching as a visiting professor at the New Mexico State University in Las Cruces. It was a time when there was much construction of fortified fencing taking place just before the Obama administration came into power. Wearing a cloth face mask while exercising leads to worse performance, according to the results of a small trial.
It found that when donning a face covering, a person s exercise duration drops by 14 per cent while participants also recorded increased feelings of breathlessness and claustrophobia when exercising at higher intensities.
The results of the trial on 31 healthy adults have been published online in the British Journal of Sports Medicine (BJSM).
Thirty of the participants said that the task running on a treadmill to exhaustion was harder when wearing a face covering.
