The New York State Health Department has released updated data on COVID-related nursing home deaths across the state since the start of the pandemic, breaking down the number of deaths at each facility.
From the start of the pandemic in March 2020 through Feb. 2, 2021, there were 134 confirmed COVID-related deaths at nursing homes in Oneida County, 42 in Herkimer County and nine in Otsego County.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) â The Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, and Niagara County health departments have issued a joint statement, strongly discouraging travel around school spring break due to COVID-19.
The following New York State Travel Advisory guidance will apply to travelers who are from a state that does not border New York State (any state other than Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Vermont)
