The Health Care District of Palm Beach County is hosting a pop-up vaccination clinic this week from Monday through Friday at 1250 Southwinds Drive in Lantana from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Now that children ages 12 and older are eligible to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, Palm Beach County health leaders are trying to make the process as easy as possible.
The Health Care District of Palm Beach County is hosting a pop-up vaccination clinic this week from Monday through Friday at 1250 Southwinds Drive in Lantana from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
These are walk-up vaccinations, so you don t need an appointment.
Medical professionals will administer the Pfizer vaccine, meaning children 12 and older can get inoculated on the spot. The one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine is also being administered at this pop-up site.

May 15 Florida s Department of Health on Saturday announced 3,319 new confirmed cases of COVID-19. The state also announced 57 new deaths. Of these, 56 were residents.
The state has recorded a known total of 2,289,522 novel coronavirus cases and 36,776 deaths. Among those who died, 36,056 were residents and 720 were nonresidents.
On Saturday, the state reported the results of 74,487 residents tested the day before. The state s percent positivity increased from 4.15% to 4.41%.

May 11 Florida s Department of Health on Tuesday announced 3,263 new confirmed cases of COVID-19. The state also announced 49 new deaths. Of those who died, 48 were residents.
The state has recorded a known total of 2,275,365 coronavirus cases and 36,547 deaths. Among those who died, 35,831 were residents and 716 were nonresidents.
On Tuesday, the state reported the results of 78,746 residents tested the day prior. The state s percent positivity increased from 4.97% to 5.00%.
More than 7.1 million Floridians have completed the two-dose series of Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna or have completed Johnson & Johnson s single-dose vaccine, according to Tuesday s vaccine report.
The number of new coronavirus cases in Florida continues to drop.
The Florida Department of Health on Monday reported 2,296 new cases, fewest since mid-April.
The total number of cases in Florida now stands at 2,272,102.
Numbers are normally low at the start of the week, as 55,154 thousand tests were returned since Sunday about 42,000 lower than the daily average for the last two weeks.
The positivity rate for new cases came in at 5.01 percent, which is considered the level where the virus is slowing its spread.
Statewide, the deaths of 53 people due to complications from COVID-19 were recorded since Sunday.
Statewide, 7,088,055 people are fully vaccinated, with another 2,223,344 people having received at least one shot.
