PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) â A Portage Central High School alum will be participating in the Womenâs College Softball World Series.
Josie Muffley will be the starting shortstop for Florida State when they face UCLA in an opening-round match-up at 9:30 Thursday night at USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.
Muffley has started all 55 games for Florida State this season, helping the Seminoles go 44-10-1, including a 5-0 mark in NCAA tournament play.
She graduated from Portage Central in 2018.
