The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office has charged a Northampton couple with a variety of offenses after finding nearly $1 million in drugs and several guns in an apartment in the borough, a news release and court papers say.
A search warrant was served Wednesday morning at 326 E. Eighth St., Apartment 11, by attorney general’s office narcotics investigations agents and a Pennsylvania State Police Special Emergency Response Team, the news release said. A Huntingdon County resident who was injured nearly eight years ago in a fall in the parking lot of the county’s Chestnut Terrace housing complex will finally get her day in court as the result of a decision Wednesday by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Sharon Wise, who resided in the Chestnut Terrace complex owned by the Huntingdon County Housing Authority, was walking with her sister on the night of May 9, 2013, when she “rolled her ankle” on the edge of the sidewalk.
Wise broke her ankle, which, according to her attorney, Nathan M. Murawsky of Landsdale, was a severe injury that still gives her problems to this day.

NORTHAMPTON BOROUGH, PA A major gun and drug bust led to the seizure of nearly $1 million worth of crystal methamphetamine, Nazi paraphernalia, assault rifles and other illegal items, the Pennsylvania Attorney General announced.
Two Lehigh County residents have been charged in connection with the bust, and one of them remains at large.
Christopher Weikert and Tara Gallucci have been charged with drug and gun crimes following a search of the couple s Northampton Borough, Attorney General Josh Shapiro said. The two are accused of running a gun and drug trafficking scheme.
